1. Build in me a strong faith in You and a love for all the saints (1:4).

2. Fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all areas of my life (1:9).

3. Teach me to walk in a manner worthy of You and to please You in all things (1:10).

4. Create in me good discipline and stability of faith in You (2:5).

5. Cause me to be firmly established in You, with a heart of gratitude (2:7).

6. Help me to focus my thought on Your purposes and not on worldly situations (3:2).

7. Please turn me away from all immorality, passion, greed, idolatry, anger, wrath, malice, slander, abusive speech, and help me to be honest toward others, full of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (3:5-12).

8. Help me to devote myself to prayer, keeping alert in it, with an attitude of thanksgiving (4:2).

9. Teach me to be wise and to make the most of every opportunity to share the gospel with those I meet (4:5).

10. Lord, help me to be faithful to whatever You have called me to, and help me fulfill it in faithfulness (4:17).

1. Pray for protection. Ask God to build a hedge around them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Block their paths so they cannot move toward activities and relationships that would harm them.

2. Deliver them from evil. Rescue them from a destructive lifestyle. Restore them to their senses and bring them home from the land of the enemy.

3. Guide them into truth. Teach them to recognize deceptive ideas and thought. Make them alert to the lies of the enemy and teach them how to resist the devil by faith.

4. Give them the courage to be honest with themselves and with you. Spirit of God, convince them of sin and their need for You. Don’t allow them to blame others for their troubles. Show them that they alone are responsible for their choices.

5. Draw them with love and tenderness to Yourself.

6. Remove their heart of stone and replace it with a new, soft heart. Make this heart into a bed of fertile soil so that the seed of truth sown into it will grow deep roots and bring forth a rich crop of life.

7. Lead them to friends who will graciously point them to You. Cause them to be attracted to You. Scatter like chaff in the wind any friends who will bring them harm. Give them the courage to please you, not man.

1. Pray for healing by the power of His Word.

2. Pray for God to surround the sick person with righteous intercessors who will pray with faith-filled, powerful, effective prayers.

3. Pray for discernment to expose the enemy’s schemes and pray for deliverance from spiritual attack.

4. Pray for faith that they may be able to trust God regardless of his physical condition.

5. Pray for laughter and a cheerful heart.

6. Pray for music, asking God to give them a new song of praise.

7. Pray for provision for their financial needs.

8. Pray for wisdom in the decisions needed to be made.

9. Ask God to continually remind them of the hope and future and purpose God has for them.

10. Ask God to give them the ability to speak apt words that build up those who listen.

11. Pray for daily perspective, that they would be renewed inwardly.

12. Ask for God’s presence to be real and felt.

13. Pray that he would turn to God for refuge and rescue.

14. Pray for freedom from fear.

15. Pray for comfort, hope, and perseverance.

16. Pray for God to demonstrate His glory through their struggle.

1. Ask God to show you His perspective.
2. Ask God to help you to humble yourself
3. Ask God to help you release offenses and offenders.

4. Confront the real enemy, Satan, and use the weapons God has provided you to defeat him.

5. Ask God to build bridges.

1. Pray that God would give us a vision for reaching the lost in other parts of our island and state.

2. Pray that God would raise up an army of prayer warriors who are willing to persevere in prayer and wage war on their knees.

3. Pray for a spirit of prayer to spread like wildfire across our land and world until every church becomes a house of prayer.

4. Pray for God to call people to begin new works in their homes, neighborhoods, or workplaces.

5. Pray for God to open doors for ministry.

6. Pray that God will increase our number through new converts.

7. Pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us to expand our tents.

8. Pray for creative ways of bringing the gospel to under-reached parts of our island.

9. Pray for financial provision for undertaking new works.

10. Pray for God to provide the man of peace who opens doors into new areas of ministry.

11. Pray for specific communities:

1. Pray for calling and purpose for this generation.

2. Pray for God to develop godly character in their lives.

3. Pray for them to have discernment to recognize the enemy’s lies.

4. Pray for good and healthy friendships.

5. Pray for God to protect them from a love of money.

6. Pray for a strong moral compass.

7. Pray for them to have a passion for Christ.

8. Pray for godly role models in their lives.

9. Pray for their sexuality, that they would be shielded from the lies of the enemy and that God’s truth would set them free.

10. Pray for spiritual growth, that they may be rooted and established in the foundation of Christ.

11. Pray for submission to authority, that they would be submissive to both God and to the parents, and other leaders, that God has placed over them.

12. Pray for the LCC Kids leaders, Debbie Ong and Kalika Ayin, and for their team of leaders, teachers, and leaders-in-training.

1. Pray that we would be the hands and feet of Christ to our community.

2. Pray that we express Jesus’ love to our community in tangible ways.

3. Pray that we can make a difference in people’s lives.

4. Pray for greater impact on our community.

5. Pray for vision and creativity to see new opportunities to serve our community.

6. Pray for people to catch the vision and volunteer to serve.

7. Pray for financial provision to enable us to do all we can to bless Pearl City and beyond.

8. Pray that we can be responsive to the needs of the most vulnerable members of our community during these difficult times.

9. Pray that we truly will be “the church outside the church.”

1. Pray for victory over the enemy’s plots and schemes against him.

2. Pray for protection from attack. Ask God to place a shield around him and set His angels around him that no power of the enemy can harm him.

3. Pray for his priorities, and wisdom to prioritize the tasks of each day.

4. Pray for focus, keeping him from both pride and from self-pity.

5. Pray for holiness.

6. Pray for knowledge.

7. Pray for his family, both provision and protections.

8. Pray for healing from any grief caused by ministry. Pray for him to be able to forgive those who hurt or speak against him.

9. Pray for God to draw him into deeper worship.

10. Pray for his thought life.

11. Pray for his time with God.

12. Pray for his preaching and preparation and heart.

13. Pray for lasting fruit.

14. Pray for the fear of God and against the fear of failure and the fear of men. Pray for boldness.

15. Pray for vision for our church.

1. Pray for existing workers.
2. Pray for new workers.
Ask God to send new workers into various fields, ready to serve and make a positive impact.

“Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’” Matthew 9:37-38

1. City leaders. Mayor, city council, and others.

2. State leaders. Governor, senators, and congress.

3. National leaders. President and cabinet.

4. Other elected officials, judges, lawyers, police officers, first responders, military, business executives and managers, educators, medical practitioners, and hospital administrators.

5. Church leaders. Pastors, elders, deacons, home group leaders, ministry leaders.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders as they make decisions that impact our community, church, state, and country.

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2

1. That they be God fearing and recognize that they are accountable to God for each decision and act.

2. That they be granted wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

3. That, if unsaved, they be drawn to a saving encounter with Christ. If born again, that they be strengthened and encouraged in their faith.

4. That they recognize their own inadequacy and pray and seek the will of God.

5. That they heed their conscience, confess their sins, and repent.

6. That they respect authority and practice accountability.

7. That they be given godly counsel.

8. That they be honest and faithful.

9. That they have the courage to resist manipulation, pressure, and the fear of man.

10. That they endeavor to restore the sanctity of life families, divine order, and morality in our nation.

11. That they would work to reverse the trends of humanism in our nation.

12. That they have thankful and teachable spirits.

13. That they be generous and have compassionate hearts for the poor and needy.

1. Pray that many will come to know Jesus during their twilight years.

2. Pray for believing kupuna for strength and courage to reach out to friends and neighbors.

3. Pray for our strategic programs, such as Grief Share and K-Club, to reach our community kupuna with the gospel.

4. Pray for those who do not yet believe to have open hearts and minds to receive the gospel.

We have 14 schools in our area, including :

1. Prayer for personal and church habits transformation.
Pray for you and individuals in our church to recognize and release unhealthy, ungodly, and toxic habits that may hinder their/our spiritual growth.

2. Prayer for the adoption of godly habits.
Pray to implement and cultivate habits that are good healthy, and godly, leading to fruitful rewards.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

1. Pray for faith to move mountains.
Pray for the Lord’s strength to cultivate unwavering faith that can overcome obstacles and challenges in every area of your life.

2. Pray for the mountains to shift by God’s power.
Ask for divine intervention and supernatural power to move the mountains in your financial, spiritual, physical, relational, and ministry impact spheres.

1. Endurance until we reach the finish line.
Pray that we will not grow weary but will find new strength and endurance.

“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

2. Surrender for divine use.
Pray that we would welcome God’s transformative power, allowing Him to break and mold us for His divine purpose.

“He said, ‘Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?’ declares the LORD. ‘Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.’” Jeremiah 18:6

3. Fresh fire for community impact.
Ask for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s fire upon the congregation, igniting a passion to go out into the community and shine brightly for Jesus.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

1. Pray for the youth on Oahu, and specifically in Pearl City High School.
2. Pray for the youth of Leeward Community Church.
3. Pray for our youth leadership.

1. Pray for peace in Israel.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.’” Psalm 122:6

2. Pray for the persecuted Church.
“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews 13:3

3. Pray for those doing the persecution.
“Pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44

1. Pray for salvation for every member. Mention each one by name.

2. Pray for them to experience the depth of the Father’s love and the power of His resurrection.

3. Pray that your family may grow a saving, mountain-moving faith in Jesus, turning your hearts toward Him, and being rooted in the truth of His Word.

4. Pray for Christlikeness for each family member.

5. Pray against anger, competitiveness, or strife that may have taken root.

6. Pray for forgiveness and letting go of any bitterness that may have taken root.

7. Pray for peace.

8. Pray for honesty and transparency.

9. Ask God to place a guard over your mouths as you speak to one another.

10. Pray for spiritual protection against the enemy.

11. Pray for provision and protection.

12. Pray for the future. Pray that your (existing or future) children and grandchildren will be examples of what it means to follow Jesus in how they live their lives. Ask God to teach them to find their confidence and hope in God for any difficulties they may face.

1. Pray that they would recognize God’s desire to have a relationship with them.

2. Pray that God would align your heart with His.
3. Intercede for the lost.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

1. Humility in God’s presence. 

2. Consistent prayer life. 
3. Seeking God wholeheartedly.
4. Turning from sin.
5. Alive for the things of God.

As we prepare to step into the year 2025, we stand at a pivotal moment in our shared journey of faith. Since the Decade of Harvest began in 2018, God has moved powerfully among us, and now, as we enter the eighth year of this vision, I believe He is calling us deeper still. Together with the Elders, I feel led to issue a heartfelt call to prayer—a call to lean into God’s Kingdom purposes like never before.

For over 130 years, The Alliance has witnessed God raise up men and women to take faith-filled risks for His glory. At the heart of every movement of God is fervent prayer. With this in mind, we are inviting the entire church to join us in building a culture of prayer through 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting.

The Word of God reminds us in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“…if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

These 21 days, from Mon, January 6 to Sun, January 26, are a time to seek God wholeheartedly. Whether you’re in need of healing, yearning for a breakthrough, seeking direction, or simply desiring to draw closer to the Lord, this is an opportunity to align our hearts with His for our Nations and Neighborhoods.

As Ephesians 3:20 proclaims:

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us…”

Let’s come together as a church family, united in prayer and fasting, trusting that God will meet us in ways beyond anything we could imagine. Let’s make 2025 a year where we witness God’s power and presence in our lives and our community.
