God answered our prayer for a Bible-believing church family; people serious about their faith and helping us grow; 5 minute drive from home; and openness to all the gifts of the Spirit. 42 years later we, our children, and our grandchildren are experiencing life together with Jesus Christ and His Church.

I'm military, and it usually takes a while to feel welcomed into a new church community. Not at Leeward! Several people came up to introduce themselves and welcome me, and they invited me to plug right in. I'm so grateful to be part of the Body of Christ here at Leeward Community Church.

We came to Leeward at different times. I (Kirk) have been here since I was 6 and Melissa came when she was 26. Yet one thing stands the same for us both—LCC feels like home. We are surrounded by a loving community who rejoices in the Lord through the best times and prays with us through the toughest times. We love our LCC ohana!
